The fifth paper plant, which was commissioned in 2015 with an investment of 350 million Euros, has enabled Modern Karton to increase its annual production capacity to 1 million and 50 thousand tonnes. Modern Karton is one of the largest corrugated paper producers in Türkiye and one of the largest in Europe with its increased capacity.

Modern Karton Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is a global leader in the paper industry, boasting a production technology and automation system that are among the most advanced in the world. The company's 181,000 m² enclosed facility is situated on a 508,000 m² open area. Modern Karton, the industry pioneer in Türkiye, exports almost all the country's corrugated paper by itself.. The facility prevents the felling of 17 million mature trees annually by using 100% wastepaper in its production, which , in addition to an $35 million treatment system makes the company environmentally friendly.
