Modern Karton increased its annual production capacity to 2 million tons with the commissioning of its sixth paper mill in 2025, representing a total investment of EUR 540 million.
Modern Karton operates four paper machines at its Çorlu and Zonguldak facilities, carrying out its activities across a total of 292,181 m² of open area and 374,855 m² of enclosed space. Equipped with advanced production technologies and high-level automation systems, these facilities position the company among the most advanced and competitive manufacturers in the global paper industry.

Among Türkiye's coal-fired thermal power plants, Eren Enerji was the pioneer in constructing the country's first Nitrous Oxide Treatment Plant.
At the first Solid Waste Incineration Plant in Türkiye, we convert wastepaper into either 27.6 megawatts of electrical power or 100 tons of steam energy.
By using 100% wastepaper in the production, Modern Karton prevents felling of 17 million trees annually.
For renewable energy, we generate 6 MW of electricity at our biogas power plant connected to the existing water treatment plants in Çorlu.
We recover wastewater by eliminating the pollution from wastewater in Modern Karton treatment facilities.
